McDonald's Healthier Than Starbucks?

In some cases, it would appear so.

I saw this article today on Shine where they were comparing sandwiches from Starbucks to McDonald's.  The results were shocking!

{1}
Starbucks Strawberry and Blueberry Yogurt Parfait-300 calories
McDonalds Fruit n Yogurt-220 calories

{2}
Starbucks Veggie, Egg and Monterey Jack Artisan Breakfast-350 calories and18 grams of fat
Egg McMuffin-300 calories and 12 grams of fat

{3}
Starbuck’s Farmer’s market Salad-230 calories and 12 grams of fat
McDonald’s Premium Southwest Salad without Chicken-140 calories and 4.5 grams of fat

{4}
Starbucks Santa Fe Chicken Panini-400 calories and 11grams of fat
McChicken Sandwich-360 calories and 16 grams of fat

{5}
Starbucks Turkey and Swiss Sandwich-390 calories and 13 grams of fat
McDonalds Cheeseburger-300calories and 12 grams of fat

In every single case the McDonald's sandwiches and less calories.  In all but one case, the McDonald's sandwiches contained less fat.  Aren't you shocked?

Now, to be fair, it doesn't take into account cholesterol or sodium but I would have never guessed that these particular McDonald's foods would hold up to Starbucks "healthy" choices.
